These images evoke dancing nymphs who have come to rest. They may have been dancing together or separately, in a glade or forest. Dancing for them is not entertainment in the modern sense, but an expression of the life force contained in human bodies. The artist has arranged the drawings to make them come alive as a group you can display on your wall and engage with over time. Take them home and see what stories unfold.
